Beyond the Conventional

For projects that require a less conventional approach (exhibition design, animation, interactive engagement tools or wearable science communication pieces) I bring creative thinking alongside rigorous attention to detail.

Projects include exhibition narrative and spatial design, animations for environmental research, and engagement materials for science communication events. Particularly suited to public engagement requirements, knowledge exchange initiatives and museum or gallery contexts.

Exhibition design for Incarcerated: Contemporary Arts from the Victorian Prison. An exhibition cataloguing and detailing the creative work of people incarcerated within Victorian prisons. I designed the narrative through this exhibition of prisoner artworks, photographs (by Andy Aitchison) and quotes, which was curated by the academic team. I designed and prepared the text items for the exhibition and oversaw installation. Photos 2, 3 & 4 – Andy Aitchison. Photos 1 & 5 – Hugo Jackson.
